WhatsApp Hid Instructions in Help Pages Telling Its AI Chatbot Not to Recommend Privacy Regulators

WhatsApp’s help pages carried hidden instructions telling its support chatbot not to recommend a data protection authority to users who could no longer delete their accounts, The Hacker News reports. Redact counted 102 hidden instruction blocks across 80 help pages; WhatsApp told WIRED the text appeared because of a bug and it has been removed.
