Cisco Patches Actively Exploited SSL VPN Vulnerability Affecting ASA and FTD Firewalls

Cisco has released security updates for a critical vulnerability in the Remote Access SSL VPN service of its Secure Firewall ASA and FTD software, tracked as CVE-2026-76418. The flaw lets unauthenticated attackers trigger unexpected device reloads, causing denial of service, and Cisco says it has been actively exploited.
