Stolen staff logins are spreading attacks between K-12 school districts

Last school year, 808 K-12 school organisations were told by the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) that their staff accounts or credentials were circulating on underground and dark web marketplaces, Help Net Security reports. Attackers are using those stolen logins to enter one district and then reach the next; the 808 organisations are among MS-ISAC’s 6,116 K-12 members.
