CISA Adds Actively Exploited GitLab RCE and Cisco Firewall DoS Flaws to KEV

CISA on Thursday added two actively exploited flaws to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, The Hacker News reports: a GitLab remote code execution flaw, CVE-2026-97229, rated CVSS 10.0, and a Cisco firewall denial-of-service flaw. Both flaws were added citing evidence of active exploitation.
