Hackers Launch Over 18 Million DDoS Attacks in Three Months, Cloudflare Reports

Cloudflare mitigated 18.2 million network-layer DDoS attacks in the third quarter of 2026, a 208% rise in attack frequency from the same quarter in 2025, GBHackers reports. Attackers now favour short, frequent disruptions over large traffic floods, according to the report.
