About 46,000 SIA booking records accessed in data breach involving travel tech company Amadeus

Singapore Airlines said data from about 46,000 booking records was accessed in a breach at Amadeus, the travel technology provider behind its reservation system, Channel NewsAsia reports. About 620 of the records may also have included email addresses, phone numbers, travel document details and KrisFlyer numbers; the airline says its own systems were not breached and no payment information was exposed. Amadeus has drawn similar disclosures from Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific and ANA, with unauthorised access reportedly stretching back to August 2023.
