Cyberattack leads to online leak of schools' data

More than 320,000 files stolen during a September cyberattack on Bristol City Council’s Trading with Schools service have been published online, TES reports. The council believes the data theft affected 39 schools that use its network and says it is not yet possible to confirm which schools or individuals are affected. The council is working with schools, Avon and Somerset Police and the regional organised crime unit.
