Fake GTA VI Download Sites Push Malware Ahead of Launch

Netcraft research shared with Hackread found more than 120 newly registered domains exploiting the upcoming November 19 launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, offering fake leaked builds, early access, and mobile versions Rockstar has never announced. Some downloads are flagged as Trojans, while other sites demand cryptocurrency payments — one asked $100 to unlock access — or push visitors through survey and app-install content lockers. Netcraft expects the lures to shift after launch toward cheats, fake GTA$ offers, and account-support scams.
