The Confessions of an AI Fraud Kingpin

Yuriy Nazarenko, the creator of OnlyFake, a website that used generative AI to produce convincing fake identity documents for about $15 each, has described how the service operated and was used, including by North Korean fake IT workers, 404 Media reports. The US Department of Justice said OnlyFake made more than a million dollars selling fake IDs; Nazarenko pleaded guilty, served a year in prison, and is now free and living in Asia.
