UK ministers seek powers to investigate when AI agents are let off the leash

UK ministers are seeking powers under the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill to investigate when operators lose control of AI agents and other automated systems, The Register reports. The proposals could pave the way for searches, seizures and inspections in such incidents.
