CTM360 Exposes Fake Gift Card Scams Exploiting Trusted Brands

CTM360 has identified more than 1,000 incidents in a recurring fake gift card scam campaign that impersonates major brands including PlayStation, Sephora, SHEIN, Walmart and Amazon, using fake celebrity endorsements and sponsored social media ads. Victims are led through deceptive human verification steps that collect personal information, install apps and enrol them in paid subscriptions, and no gift card is ever delivered.
