FBI Deletes More Than 4,000 PlugX Malware Instances

The FBI, in collaboration with the French police and cybersecurity company Sekoia, successfully deleted over 4,000 instances of the PlugX malware. The malware, used by a Beijing-backed group for cyberespionage, was vulnerable due to its hardcoded command and control server, which was seized by Sekoia in 2023.
