PlugX malware deleted from thousands of systems by FBI | Malwarebytes

The FBI successfully removed PlugX malware from thousands of infected computers worldwide, disrupting a cybercriminal campaign linked to the People’s Republic of China. By seizing control of a Command & Control server, the FBI was able to delete the malware and notify affected users.
