Pro-Russia hacker group NoName057(16) launched a new wave of DDoS attacks on Italian entities, including airports, the Transport Authority, banks, and ports. The attacks, which had a minor impact, were a response to President Mattarella’s statements comparing Russia to the Third Reich. NoName057(16) has been active since March 2022, targeting government and critical infrastructure organizations worldwide.
