You can claim up to $7,500 from AT&T’s $177M data breach payouts - how to qualify | ZDNET

AT&T customers affected by two major data breaches can file claims for compensation from a $177 million class-action settlement, with a deadline of November 18, 2025. The settlement covers a 2019 breach that exposed personal details including Social Security numbers, names, and addresses ($149 million fund with up to $5,000 payouts), and a 2024 Snowflake hack that leaked call and text records ($28 million fund with up to $2,500 payouts). Eligible customers who were affected by both breaches could receive up to $7,500 total, with higher payments available for those who can document specific out-of-pocket damages from the breaches. Claims can be filed online at TelecomDataSettlement.com or by mailing completed forms to the settlement administrator, with affected customers receiving email or postal notices from Kroll Settlement Administration starting in August 2025. If the settlement receives final court approval on December 3, 2025, payouts are expected to begin in early 2026, with exact amounts depending on the total number of claimants.
